The Land Rover Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle

Added: 26 October 2018

This P400e is the first-ever plug-in hybrid Range Rover. It combines a 296bhp Ingenium 2 litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a 114bhp electric motor, all powered by a 13.1 kWh battery pack under the boot floor. Ultimately this gives you a fully electric range of 31 miles.

It takes as little as 7.5 hours to recharge the vehicle, depending on your local power supply, using a home charging cable. By using Timed Charging to specify when PHEV charges, you can take advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs or simply choose the time of day convenient to you.

When in EV mode, the engine delivers zero tailpipe emissions on drives of up to 31 miles. On longer journeys, both motors work together to produce as low as 72g/km CO2 emissions. This ensures greater fuel savings and a reduced impact on the environment.

The design of the P400e hasn't been compromised either, blending the charge port into the front grille to provide easy access and connection.
