Jaguar Land Rover Go Retro with Classic Infotainment System

Jaguar Land Rover Classic has introduced a new infotainment system to its growing range of genuine parts and accessories, bringing modern functionality to Jaguar & Land Rover classic vehicles in a retro-looking, classically-styled, head unit.
Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts
Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts and was established in 1999 as a sub division of Jaguar Land Rover to provide support for the JLR classic vehicle range. Aimed primarily at non-current cars of that have been out of official production for ten years or more the concept is to provide a high level of service and quality genuine manufacturer products. This allows owners of older Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to keep their cars on the road, by using genuine Jaguar Land Rover parts, direct from Jaguar and Land Rover.
All parts in the Classic programme are manufactured to precise specifications via original suppliers where possible, whilst always using authentic Jaguar Land Rover drawings and tooling, making all parts 100% genuine Jaguar Land Rover.
The JLR Classic Infotainment System
The new Infotainment System is designed to suit most classic vehicles that run on a negative earth electrical system. The single DIN-sized Classic Infotainment System unit integrates; customisable Sat Nav in up to 32 languages, Smartphone integration, Bluetooth connectivity and dual DAB/DAB+ digital radio, as well as traditional FM and AM analogue radio reception.
Four individual branded versions of the Classic Infotainment System will be offered specifically for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, with a choice of either black or chrome faceplate finishes for Jaguars, and a choice of black or silver brushed aluminium for Land Rovers. The system will be controlled by a 3.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen situated between traditional rotary controls and buttons. The Satellite Navigation system’s route guidance can be displayed in either 2 Dimensional or 3 Dimensional maps, or as turn arrow instructions, and includes TMC traffic alerts.
The system can also be programmed for most European countries. Other key features of the Classic Infotainment System include:
Premium sound quality from single DIN head unit with built-in 4 x 45-watt output
Telephone functionality, including phonebook transfer via Bluetooth, supports up to four devices, with 1250 contacts per device
System languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian with up to 32 languages available for navigation function

The JLR Classic Infotainment System is now available to purchase from Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts and is priced from £1,200 (including VAT). A fitting service is offered at Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works in Warwickshire as well as Authorised Jaguar and Land Rover Retailers.
